Hi! I’m Rio
I help companies create meaningful relationships with their audiences.

I’ve always been fascinated by what moves individuals and connects communities. At first this was in concert halls, for 10+ years performing as a cellist and singer, always trying to find a blend of personal expression and programming to create an impactful experience for the audience. Then, as I traded concert halls for meeting rooms, that fascination expanded into what moves people in their daily life — making connections, and finding new ways to help people discover meaningful experiences through art.

In 2012, I brought 11 other cellists together to form Celli — later Celli@Berkeley an ensemble where we explored musical curiosities and created new repertoire for cello choir. Celli (Celli@Berkeley and CelliPop) still thrives to this day, and in addition to commissioning new works and releasing their debut album, they perform regularly in the Bay Area.
