It'll Never Be Perfect
Yesterday, a friend said to me (after shaming me for not having finished this website):
"It'll never be perfect,
so stop trying and just get it done."
The mini revelation hit me like a ton of bricks. The desire to create the best version of this website I have in my head kept me from actually finishing the project in a reasonable amount of time: I was coddling myself.
If you only want to produce perfect work, you might not create anything. Just create it, write it, build it, draw it — and edit later. It may be rough for a bit, but at least it's out of your head and into the world.
So here we are, after a little shame I'm finally getting this started.
